Anotace	Diplomová práca prináša pohľad na koreláciu slova a hudby v piesňovej tvorbe Jána Levoslava Bellu. V prvej kapitole je spracovaný historicko-spoločenský kontext doby, v ktorej Bella žil a tvoril. Druhá kapitola sa zaoberá piesňovou tvorbou a jej špecifikami. Ťažisková časť práce pozostáva z analýz vybraných piesní na nemecký text, pričom poukazujeme na vzťah a prepojenie slova a hudby pomocou širokého diapazónu použitých hudobných prostriedkov. V predposlednej kapitole je prezentovaný Schummanov piesňový cyklus, pri ktorého analýze demonštrujeme príznačné hudobné paralely s Bellovými piesňami. Záverečná kapitola práce systematicky zlučuje dve metódy: analytickú a komparatívnu. Ich syntézou poukazujeme na zhudobnenia tej istej básnickej predlohy v troch diferentných predvedeniach Bellu, Brahmsa a Abta. Súčasťou práce sú aj notové prílohy analyzovaných Bellových piesní.
Anotace anglicky	The diploma thesis brings a view of correlation between word and music in the songs by Ján Levoslav Bella. The first chapter is dedicated to historical and social context of the time, when Bella lived and composed music. The second chapter focuses on his songs in general and their specifications. The main part of the thesis consists of the analyses by selecting songs composed on German texts. Our aim is to point out the relation and the connection between word and music in the songs thanks o the wide diapason of used musical devices. In the penultime chapter is presented the song cycle by R. Schumann, moreover we demonstrate the symptomatic musical parallels with the songs by Bella. The last chapter of the thesis systematically unites the two methods: analytical and comparative. In addition, we point to the musical setting of the same poem in three completely different songs by Bella, Brahms and Abt. Last but not least, in the diploma thesis is added the appendix of the analyzed songs by J. L. Bella.
