Anotace	Táto práca sa zaoberá arabskou flautou Nay a jej postavením v arabskej alíbyjskej hudbe a zameriava sa na organologickú charakteristiku zvoleného nástroja ako aj hráčskych techník s ním súvisiacich. Popri zdôraznení dôležitosti arabskej flauty sa pozornosť venuje aj africkej hudbe a hudobným nástrojom najmä v afrických štátoch susediacich s Líbyou. Pozadím preskúmanie zvoleného nástroja sa stalo priblíženie líbyjskej hudobnej kultúry prostredníctvom stručného prehľadu o hudobných skupinách v Líbyi. Odtiaľ sa smeruje k vysvetleniu postavenia arabskej flauty Nay v hudbe a v kultúrnom živote v Líbyi s predstavením najvýznamnejších flautistov v tejto krajine. Keďže základy arabskej hudby sú takmer identické vo všetkých arabských štátoch, bolo dôležité prehľadným spôsobom predstaviť hlavne jednotlivé hudobné stupnice–maqamy-ako základ arabskej hudby. V hľadaní odpovede na problematiku postavenia flauty Nay v líbyjskej spoločnosti sa postupuje sociorganologicky a to prostredníctvom ankety, ktorá bola koncipovaná zvlášť pre hudobnikov ako aj pre nehudobníkov. Dôležitou súčasťou tejto práce sú prílohy obsahujúce konkrétne príklady notácie líbyjských ľudových piesní a hudobné skladby pre arabskú flautu Nay vychádzajúce zo základných stupníc arabskej hudby
Anotace anglicky	This work deals with the Arab flute; Nay; and its position in the Arab and Libyan music. It focuses on technical characteristics of this instrument as their playing techniques related to it. While emphasizing the importance of the Arab flutes it also focus on African music and musical instruments especially in African countries neighboring Libya. To clarify the position of instruments which are closer to Libyan musical culture through brief review of the musical groups in Libya. It is also pointed out some Libyan musicians who play this instrument. Then, it lead toward the highlighting of the status of the Arabic Nay Flutes in music and cultural life in Libya with the introduction of the most important flutist in this country. As the Arab music and its bases are the identical in all the Arab countries, it is important to introduce in a clear way the basic musical Maqams, which are considered as the Arabic music core. In the search of answers to the problems of the position in Nay Flutes in Libyan society and its technical progress I used questionnaires which was designed specifically for musicians and for non-musicians An important part of this work are the Annexes which contain specific examples of musical notations, Libyan folk songs and musical compositions for Arabic flute based on the fundamental scales of Arabic music.
